Bristol, UK-based Aardman Animations is putting a whack of its series up on the UK iTunes Store.

A wide variety of Aardman content, including the 30-minute Wallace and Gromit specials A Close Shave, The Wrong Trousers and A Grand Day Out, and series such as Cracking Contraptions and Angry Kid are now available on the service. The downloads have been priced at US$3.75 apiece.

The is the latest move by Aardman into the digital arena, and follows a number of deals made last year with the likes of Joost, Atom Films and Player X in the US that saw the company’s library landing on new platforms
