Turner Broadcasting Systems has reorganized its upper-most ranks. And as part of the re-structure that sees Mark Lazarus stepping down as president of Turner Entertainment Group, Stuart Snyder has been bumped up to the post of president and COO of Turner Animation, young adults and kids media.

Snyder is now responsible for all programming, marketing, scheduling, strategy, operations, advertising sales and consumer products for Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Adult Swim and their digital extensions. GameTap, Super Deluxe, and the division’s animation production facilities in Atlanta and L.A. also fall under his new remit.

Snyder was formerly EVP for the same Turner assets, and has previously held exec positions at the WWE and Cinar.

Snyder is one of three new division presidents (Steve Koonin and David Levy have been appointed to oversee Turner Entertainment Networks and Turner Broadcasting Sales, respectively) now reporting directly to Turner Broadcasting Chairman and CEO Phil Kent.
