Nick Jr. is picking up a second season of Yo Gabba Gabba!, the series produced by The Magic Store and Wildbrain that brings the funk to preschool TV.

The music-driven, magazine-style series has garnered strong ratings and a lot of media buzz for the reach it seems to have beyond the toddler set.

The network has ordered 20 new eps and production for the second season will commence in spring 2008 in Orange County, California. Guest stars for the first season included Elijah Wood, Mya, The Shins, Sugarland, Tony Hawk, Sean Kingston and Cornelius. Expect to see more lined up for round two.
