Right before the holidays, NBC Universal has unveiled its management plan for Sparrowhawk Media, a co-owner of new global children’s channel KidsCo that NBCU acquired last October.

The NBCU Global Networks channel operations team will be headed by four regional MDs. Francois Roux has been appointed MD of EMEA, and will oversee Europe, the Middle-East and Africa, including channel operations in Italy, Spain, France, Germany, South Africa, Benelux and Central and Eastern Europe.

An MD for the UK has yet to be appointed, but the search is underway. Raymund Miranda, meanwhile, has been tapped as MD of Asia and will be based in Singapore. Steve Patscheck has been confirmed as MD of Latin America.

Sparrowhawk senior execs David Elstein, Alison Cornwall and Keith Porritt will stay with the company during a brief transition period, and Diane Klein has taken the post of CFO of global networks.
