Entertainment Rights has scored Latin American distribution rights for the new Transformers Animated series and corresponding 70-minute special episode.

The 26 x 22-minute 2-D toon in production at Cartoon Network Studios in LA will feature new characters alongside the iconic Optimus Prime and Megatron and will bow in early 2008.

The agreement builds on ER’s previous deal for worldwide television distribution rights (excluding North America) to the series that covers both free and pay-TV platforms.
