• Disney Channel will debut the second seasons of preschool series Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Johnny and the Sprites in January. New eps of the puppet-led Johnny and the Sprites will begin to roll out on Saturday, January 19 at 7:30 a.m., while the new season of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse premieres on Saturday, January 26 at 9 a.m.
• PBS Kids Sprout is approaching kids night-before-Christmas sleeplessness with the novel Snooze-A-Thon block on December 24. The 11-hour-long block of uninterrupted programinging starts at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will feature The Good Night Show hosts Nina and Star sleeping. Yep, sleeping. So little ones who are up when they shouldn’t be can turn on the Tube and see that they should be fast asleep.
