Aussie Kids Photo Fest opens call for entries

Nickelodeon and UNICEF Australia are co-sponsoring The Aussie Kids Photo Festival, which opens its call for entries on Sunday, December 9.

The festival invites kids ages three to12 to submit their photos for the chance to be crowned The Australian Child & Youth Photographer of 2008.

Winners will attend a ceremony on May 2, 2008 at the Reef Theatre in Sydney Aquarium, where more than 40 awards will be presented. All finalists will receive prizes from SpongeBob SquarePants during his first-ever visit to the attraction and the winners will also appear on Nickelodeon Oz.

It’s free to enter at www.aussiekidsphotofestival.com, but would-be competitors are encouraged to make a donation to UNICEF Australia.
