HIT Entertainment is back in business with Bob the Builder creator Keith Chapman. The company’s US division is bringing UK preschool hit Fifi and the Flowertots to PBS Kids Sprout in January and is also planning to launch a Stateside merch program.

The Chapman Entertainment-produced series now has a home on the preschool destination’s 24/7 diginet, video on-demand service and broadband site. Fifi gets a prime spot on Sprout’s weekday-morning block The Sunny Side Up Show that airs from 9 a.m. to noon (EST), and will have an online presence at Sproutonline.com with show clips, games and printouts being made available.

Fifi and the Flowertots has now been sold to more than 160 territories worldwide since its UK broadcast launch in 2005.
