Cookie Jar Entertainment is preparing to launch a new online role-playing game based on its boys action property, Magi-Nation.

InMagi-Nation: Battle for the Moonlands players will be able to manage items and spells and amass a Magi-Nation creature collection. The interface of the free, web-based game encourages participants to take control of the game experience as they seek to become the best magi in the Moonlands.

To further expand game play, Cookie Jar will integrate Magi-Nation consumer products and introduce a paid tier, where players can upgrade their avatars, into the online world slated to launch in 2008.

The game is in its beta-testing phase right now and kids can sign up for a chance to get a sneek-peak at the game at www.magi-nation.com.

Accompanying series, Magi-Nation currently airs in the US on Kids’ WB! and on pubcaster CBC in Canada.
