The Weinstein Company and Exodus Film Group have partnered with Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s restaurants to promote the 2008 theatrical release of full-length CGI flick Igor.

More than 3,000 CKE Restaurants (owner of the fast-food chains) across the US are taking part in promotions that include Igor Cool Kid combos featuring four custom-designed premiums, in-store displays and an online campaign.

The movie is set for release on October 24, 2008 and both companies have already inked a number of promotional tie-ins and merch deals for the big-budget feature starring the voice talent of Steve Buscemi, John Cleese and Jay Leno.

The restaurant promo should roll out within a few weeks of Igor’s launch date.
