German licensing agent and brand management company m4e continues its growth streak. With the acquisition of Tex-Ass, a manufacturer of licensed textiles and accessories with more than 20 years in the market, the company may just be turning into a one-stop shop for prospective licensors.

With Tex-Ass in its portfolio, m4e plans to establish a new line of B2B activity, becoming a single-source brand manager that can guide properties and character from the development stage right through to licensing program and producing finished merchandise. Notably, m4e started up its own production company Lucky Punch earlier this year that should further feed the property pipeline.

m4e AF takes over the manufacturer with retrospective profit distribution rights on January 1, 2008.
