Big Tent Entertainment, the North American licensing agent for Miffy and Friends, has signed on two new partners for the popular bunny-centric property.
Beginning in early 2008, Loungefly and Mighty Fine will exclusively distribute Miffy accessories and apparel to specialty retailer Hot Topic.
Loungefly plans to create Miffy inspired jewelry, key chains, bags and wallets, while Mighty Fine is gearing up to target tween and teen girls with t-shirts and tank tops featuring Miffy and her friends.
Products will be available in February 2008 exclusively at Hot Topic stores and on hottopic.com. The new ranges join Miffy-inspired stationery program developed by Innovative Designs and Miffy plush from Play Along.
