With Halloween just behind us, the US has started gearing up for its next food-centric holiday, Thanksgiving. And PBS Kids and PBS Kids Go! are kicking off two days of content to celebrate the holiday and its notions of friendship on November 22 with a special presentation of Arthur’s Missing Pal, the character’s first-ever CGI movie.

On Friday morning, PBS Kids preschool block will then air friendship-themed eps of Curious George, Clifford, Super Why! and Dragon Tales, followed by a two-hour Wordgirl marathon on PBS Kids Go!.

In addition, pbsparents.org is featuring a series of articles that deal with the stages of kids’ friendships by age, their social groups, and the complex relationship situations that kids face while growing up and what parents can do to help.
