Who said you can never go back again? Bandai America, for its part, hasn’t been listening as it has picked up the North American master toy license for FUNimation Entertainment’s Dragon Ball Z for a second time.

The toyco is working on launching a brand-new Dragon Ball Z toy line for spring 2008, hoping to top its last turn with the property in 2000. Expect action figures to dominate the line.

Anime series Drago Ball Z continues to air on Cartoon Network in the US and video game sales based on the property have sold in excess of 10 million units since 2002. Since its launch as a manga series in the late ’80s, Dragon Ball has generated more than US$4 billion in merch sales.
