People moves: Pierce rejoins KB Toys

Pittsfield, Massachusetts-based retailer KB Toys has added a familiar face to its executive lineup. Former VP of its outlets division Jerry Pierce is now back at KB as SVP of merchandising. In his new position, he'll be overseeing buying and product development for all KB stores.

Pittsfield, Massachusetts-based retailer KB Toys has added a familiar face to its executive lineup. Former VP of its outlets division Jerry Pierce is now back at KB as SVP of merchandising. In his new position, he’ll be overseeing buying and product development for all KB stores.

Pierce left KB in 2006 company to manage the toy division of Meijer Incorporated’s 175 stores in the Midwest. And prior to joining KB Toys as VP of merchandising and operations in 2002, Pierce held positions as VP of merchandise for Egghead.com and divisional merchandise manager at Blain Supply.

KB, the nation’s largest mall-based specialty toy retailer, has more than 550 stores in the US, Guam and Puerto Rico.
