After months of teasing the market, 4Kids Entertainment and its subsidiary TC Digital Games are getting ready to release the first wave of Chaotic Trading Card Game starter decks and booster packs to comic and hobby stores across North America on October 24.
Chaotic OverWorld – The Dawn of Perim and UnderWorld- The Dawn of Perim starter decks as well as The Dawn of Perim – Secrets booster packs will be the first on offer. And the engine that will drive game play www.chaoticgame.com is launching in beta mode to coincide with the cards’ release.
TV series Chaotic bowed on 4Kids TV and Jetix US earlier this year and 4Kids is now in the midst of developing a full-scale licensing and marketing program for the property to keep momentum going. The first wave of merch is expected to hit retail in early 2008.
