What’s hot for the holiday season? Mega toy retailer Toys ‘R’ Us has an idea. The Wayne, New Jersey-based company has released its Top 5 Trends list, and there are no real surprises for anyone who has been following retail stats this year.

Hey! You’re a Rock Star, which covers music toys including The Little Superstar Sing-Along Stage from Fisher-Price and the much-anticipated Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock video game, tops the list.

Pink Play (think girl-focused toys such as the Pink Touch Tablet Notebook Computer from Vtech), Get Up! Get Active! physically engaging toys à la the Nintendo Wii, Internet Connectivity (i.e. toys that connect to the web via USB ports such as U.B. Funkeys from Mattel), and Robotic and Transforming toys (yes, we’re looking at you Transformers) round out the hot trends list.
