German brand management and media company m4e and Berlin-based prodco Hahn Film are teaming up to create new production entity Lucky Punch. Headquartered in Gruenwald, near Munich, the new company will take on Hahn’s kids & family development and production slate that includes live-action and animated TV series and feature films.
For its part, m4e is heading up financing, distribution and international marketing for the new venture. Gerd Hahn will oversee all development and production.
Currently, the goal is to put three projects into development and mount one production per year. A feature film and TV series based on kids character Malmi are in production right now.
