Wild Republic, the Twinsburg, Ohio-based subsidiary of K & M International, has signed on as the global toy licensee for National Geographic’s feature film Arctic Tale, currently in limited theatrical release and headed to DVD this Christmas. Plush modeled on the co-stars of the live-action movie – Seela the walrus, and Nanu, the polar bear – are leading the toy line.

The film tells the story of a walrus pup and a polar bear cub on their life’s journey from birth to adolescence to maturity and parenthood in the frozen Artic wilderness.

In addition to the plush items, Wild Republic will be introducing new playsets, puzzles, figurine collections, and additional plush variation to coincide with the DVD release.
