Cineworld Group has inked a deal with Real D to bring 3-D to 30 of its 72 Cineworld digital theaters to coincide with the UK release of Paramount’s live-action/animated feature Beowulf on November 16.

The move is the latest in the booming 3-D sector, which was spurred by DreamWorks Animation SKG’s announcement that it would start to produce all its films in 3-D by 2009. Additionally, George Lucas is in the process of re-mastering all six Star Wars films in digital 3-D.
