• Canadian kidcaster YTV has greenlit 26 x 22-minute toon Kid vs. Kat from Vancouver's Studio B Productions. The series was develop from an in-house short titled Look what my Sister Dragged in that screened at MIP Jr. in 2006. The full-length series will launch in Fall 2008.

Nickelodeon is readying the fifth edition of the Australian Kids' Choice Awards, which will be held at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on October 10 and televised exclusively on the net that Thursday evening. High School Musical star Zac Efron is hosting and US rockers Good Charlotte are scheduled to perform.
