Forget Bruce Springsteen and Van Halen, Cookie Jar Entertainment’s The Doodlebops will be playing Madison Square Gardens tomorrow night to kick off the band’s 70-date concert tour.

The tour, being produced by Feld Entertainment, marks the second time the group has made its way across North American playing to packed houses in full-size arenas. And along with getting preschool fans off their seats and dancing in the aisles, the tour is helping to promote a new toy line from itoys, hitting the shelves at TRU, Wal-Mart and other major retailers in time for the holidays.

The Doodlebops currently airs every day on Playhouse Disney in the US, and the band’s fifth full-length DVD, the aptly named Get on the Bus from Lionsgate, hit retail last month.
