Warner Home Video has snagged an exclusive multi-year worldwide home video distribution deal for the Peanuts library, the property’s original direct-to-video titles and new media distribution.
The deal was brokered between United Media, Charles M. Schulz Creative Associates and Lee Mendelson Film Productions. WHV will distribute multiple Peanuts DVD titles, including more than 50 classic TV specials and series episodes. The first up to be released under the new deal are a deluxe edition of Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown on January 15, 2008, followed by the February 26, 2008 launch of a deluxe edition of It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown.
