People moves: Fox L&M taps two VPs

It looks like both Lora Cohn and Virginia King are moving on up to the post of VP of US licensing at 20th Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising.

It looks like both Lora Cohn and Virginia King are moving on up to the post of VP of US licensing at 20th Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising.

In her new role, Cohn is charged with building Fox’s hardlines business in categories including toys, games, gift/novelty, electronics/sporting goods, and animation art categories for its stable of IP. For her part, King will be taking care of softline categories such as accessories social expressions and worldwide publishing.

Prior to joining Fox, Cohn worked as licensing and entertainment manager at Mattel, where she spearheaded licensing activity for properties including Polly Pocket and Hot Wheels.

King joined Fox in 1998 as director of worldwide publishing. In this position, she managed programs for the Ice Age franchise and Robots.
