HIT unveils new logo and readies UK Thomas Land

HIT Entertainment has unveiled a new logo along with licensing and sponsorship opportunities for Europe's first Thomas Land, slated to open in March 2008 at the Drayton Manor Park in the Midlands.

HIT Entertainment has unveiled a new logo along with licensing and sponsorship opportunities for Europe’s first Thomas Land, slated to open in March 2008 at the Drayton Manor Park in the Midlands.

Thomas Land UK will occupy 6,000 square meters of parkland where, for the first time in Europe, young Thomas fans and their families can enter the magical world of Sodor. Eleven Thomas & Friends-themed rides, including a Thomas train ride, Sodor’s Souvenirs, the world’s largest Thomas Shop and a Soft-Play Centre, will populate the park.

Inspired by original illustrations from the Thomas & Friends books and Thomas Land Japan, which opened in 1998 and attracts more than 1.7 million visitors per year, Thomas Land UK is being designed by attractions company RMA Ltd.
