20th Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising has promoted Carl Lumbard to the newly created position of SVP and MD of Fox L& M Europe. In the new position, Lumbard is charged with overseeing the brand expansion of The Simpsons and Ice Age franchises, as well building the market for action-oriented properties 24 and Prison Break.
After years with media companies including Pearson PLC and the BBC, Lumbard joined Fox in 1998 as marketing and retail director, moving on to the position of European sales director before becoming MD six years ago.
