MarVista Entertainment has appointed Sara Rutenberg as SVP of business affairs and D. Douglas Hill as controller.
A former EVP of business affairs at National Lampoon, Rutenberg is now charged with negotiating production distribution agreements across all media. Prior to her six year stint at National Lampoon, Rutenberg served as the president of business development and strategy at FremantleMedia.
In his new role, Hill is working closely with MarVista principals to streamline accounting and financial information reporting, and prepare budget and cash flow projections and financial statements.
