• LA-based MGM Home Entertainment is readying The Pink Panther: A Pink Christmas DVD (US$15) to hit retail shelves on November 6.

The Weinstein Company and Exodus Film Group have named CGI feature Navy Seals as the next film to head into production under their new strategic co-production agreement. TWC and Exodus will jointly develop, produce and finance the family comedy. The JV's first film Igor is expected to bow in 2008.

Nick Jr. is premiering Go, Diego, Go!'s hour-long TV movie Safari Rescue on October 8, with four new eps of the preschool series rolling out during the week of October 15. Not wasting any time, the Safari Rescue DVD from Nickelodeon Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment will appear at mass retail outlets October 9.
