Licensing industry org LIMA is tapping into the current social networking zeitgeist to appeal to the newest young professionals entering the biz where they likely spend a lot of their time – online. As an extension of its real-world flip (Future LIMA Industry Professionals) events, the organization has launched a souped-up website, www.licensing.org/flip, to bolster communication between new members around the globe.

The site features information about the flip program, industry news, member news, a place to exchange virtual business cards and a message forum to post questions to international colleagues.

flip is also continuing to expand its real-world component on both the East and West Coasts, with more seminars being held in L.A. and New York in the coming months. Go-getters in the L.A. area, for example, will get a chance to partake in a Learning Breakfast with Juli Boylan, SVP of worldwide licensing for Sony Consumer Products, and George Leon, EVP worldwide consumer marketing for Sony Consumer Products, on November 7.
