Classic Media has appointed former Cartoon Network exec Lara Dalch as its North American senior director of brand development and promotions. Stationed at the company’s North American headquarters in New York City, Dalch’s new responsibilities include overseeing multiplatform partnerships and promotions for the company’s portfolio entertainment brands such as Casper the Friendly Ghost and George of the Jungle.

Additionally, Dalch will be working with the home video promotions team to round out an expanded partnership group to further support the growth and visibility of the company’s brand. Scoring more promotional partnership for Big Idea’s VeggieTales is also high on her to-do list. She’ll be off to the West Coast later this week to talk up her new brands at the L.A. Office Roadshow.

Prior to joining Classic Media, Dalch was the director of promotions marketing for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, where she drove multiplatform partnerships with national brands including Campbell’s, Pepsi, Kraft and Hasbro.
