Throwing its hat into the user-generated content ring, L.A.-based PorchLight Entertainment KidVideo.com is launching a content-upload site specifically designed for the youngest of budding auteurs out there. Dubbed KidVideos.com, the new ad-supported site will give kids a place to post their creations and view the work of their peers.

It’s currently in its public beta-testing stage, but KidVideos.com‘s fully realized version will sport ads and provide online tools and tips for recording and editing videos online. Additionally, PorchLight is employing an editorial staff to screen all submissions before posting to make sure only age-appropriate, all-family content makes it up on to the site.
