London-based distributor Granada International has secured a new UK home for preschool series Pocoyo on Five. The 104 x seven-minute CGI series will be delivered early next year to run in the net’s popular Milkshake! block.
Pocoyo is a co-production between Spain’s Zinkia Entertainment and Granada, and it already airs on CiTV’s digital platform.
To accommodate the deal with Five, CiTV will now have a more limited window to run the show as it can’t schedule it during Milkshake!’s airtime between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. Monday to Friday and on weekends from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
