Jakks Pacific lands two toy biz talents

Jakks Pacific has scored a couple of recruiting coups that should beef up its marketing and sales divisions significantly in the run up to holiday season. Michael Rinzler has come aboard as VP of marketing and will spearhead efforts for the company's girls and stationery divisions. Rinzler has 15 years of toy industry experience with companies such as MGA, Equity Marketing and Mattel. Most recently, he ran the boys division at Playmate Toys.

Jakks Pacific has scored a couple of recruiting coups that should beef up its marketing and sales divisions significantly in the run up to holiday season. Michael Rinzler has come aboard as VP of marketing and will spearhead efforts for the company’s girls and stationery divisions. Rinzler has 15 years of toy industry experience with companies such as MGA, Equity Marketing and Mattel. Most recently, he ran the boys division at Playmate Toys.

Stuart Cohen is also joining the Jakks team as director of international sales, direct from an exec sales position as Imperial Toy and Creativity.
