Rock group McFly have been named as the host for the first-ever Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards UK. The slimefest will take place across the pond on Saturday, October 20 at the ExCel theater in London.
Leading the nominations are Fall Out Boy, McFly and Sugababes for Best Band, while Harry Potter‘s Daniel Radcliffe will for Best Actor against Pirates of the Carribean stars Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. In the all-important Best Cartoon category, Nick favorites SpongeBob SquarePants and Fairly Odd Parents will take on Springfield stalwarts and current box office champ The Simpsons.
