• Toronto, Canada's Shaftesbury Films has sold its live-action series Life with Derek to the Disney Channel in Portugal, Zapp/Zappelin in the Netherlands and NRK 3 in Norway. Currently, the series is also broadcast in the US (where it airs more than 12 times a week on Disney Channel), France, the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

• Houston, Texas-based Anime Network has secured linear carriage in Kansas on Sunflower Broadband and Eagle Communications. The net is currently available in 95% of all VOD-enabled households throughout the US.
