Disney-ABC International Television (Asia Pacific) has appointed Swati Shetty as director of its India operations. Based in Mumbai and reporting directly to regional sales director Amit Malhorta, Shetty is now responsible for the company’s TV distribution business across all platforms in India.
Shetty has moved over from Disney Channel India, where in her role as associate director of advertising, she helped get the net off the ground. Prior to that, she held sales and business development positions at several Indian broadcasters including STAR India and Sahara India.
