Preschool pop institution The Wiggles has a new North American master toy partner in Jakks Pacific. The deal was announced today by the toyco and the property’s US licensing agency Big Tent Entertainment.
Jakks’ preschool division will develop, manufacture and distribute plush, youth electronics, craft and activity kits, dance mats, foam puzzles, playsets, seasonal and outdoor products, and musical, role play and interactive toys based on the 16-year-old brand. The new line of merch is scheduled to hit mass retail shelves in fall 2008.
