Cartoon Networks signs sporting goods deal for Ben 10

Franklin Sports has inked a multi-year license with Cartoon Network Enterprises to create sports equipment including balls, youth sports sets, yard games, flying discs and foot bags based on the net's hit action-adventure series Ben 10. The new agreement complements a trio of Ben 10 sports licenses announced earlier this year for bikes, skateboards and safety gear.

Franklin Sports has inked a multi-year license with Cartoon Network Enterprises to create sports equipment including balls, youth sports sets, yard games, flying discs and foot bags based on the net’s hit action-adventure series Ben 10.The new agreement complements a trio of Ben 10 sports licenses announced earlier this year for bikes, skateboards and safety gear.

Franklin Sports aims to distribute product to US and Canadian specialty and mass market retail outlets in spring 2008.
