PorchLight Entertainment has partnered with Rounder Records to co-develop a TV series and specials, direct-to-video programming and a merch program for tween pop music group Girl Authority.

Girl Authority is a US-based group of nine girls, between ages 10 and 15, who each have their own pronounced identity. Fashion Girl, Glamour Girl and Preppy Girl are just a few personalities that their fans have to choose from. So far, the group’s sold more than 100,000 copies of its self-titled album released in 2006 and a follow-up Road Trip has just been released.

PorchLight will also be introducing Girl Authority to the consumer products industry at Licensing Show in New York next month.
