Jetix Europe and SIP team up on new series

Jetix Europe, TF1 and French prodco SIP Animation are putting 26 x 30-minute animated series Combo Niños into production. Slated to bow on Jetix Europe channels in August 2008, the series targets boys and girls ages six to 10 and received its very first press coverage in KidScreen way back in October 2004.

It essentially revolves around four kids who can transform themselves into animal-like superheroes. Together, they must defend their ancient city from evil madman Divinos.

Jetix Europe will handle TV distribution, home video and consumer products rights for Europe, the Middle East, French-speaking Africa and the Caribbean, leaving the rest of the world to Disney’s Buena Vista International Television.
