Mediatoon International Distribution has taken back responsibility for selling its catalogue in Latin America and Asia with the expiration of a pre-existing deal with Universal Pictures.

Mediatoon International Distribution has taken back responsibility for selling its catalogue in Latin America and Asia with the expiration of a pre-existing deal with Universal Pictures.

Formerly known as Dargaud Distribution, Mediatoon markets the audiovisiual rights held by a group of production companies including Ellipsanime, Dupuis and Storimages. Kids series such as Tintin, Babar and Lucky Luke all fall under Mediatoon’s International Distribution arm.

The company is also enlarging its library via new deals signed with independent producers including Bayard, Les Films du Triangle and East Asian manga producers Naruto and Keroro.
