Nickelodeon International has picked up the broadcast rights for Growing Up Creepie across its channels in Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin America from Taffy Entertainment.

The series is set to launch in early 2008 and marks the first-ever multi-business unit deal between the two companies. Besides broadcast, the two will share licensing and merchandising duties for the 26 x 22-minutes series that takes an irreverent look at adolescence through the eyes of 12-year old girl being raised by a family of bugs.

Nick is working on implementing a major consumer products campaign in the UK, Germany, Benelux, Japan and Australia and will look after interactive gaming in France. Meanwhile, Taffy continues to handle licensing and merchandising in the rest of the world outside of the US, where Discovery Channel holds the US broadcasting and merch rights.
