Nickelodeon UK picks up new The Magic Roundabout series

Nickelodeon UK has acquired the new CGI series The Magic Roundabout. Destined to air on Nick Jr., the 52 x11-minute series produced by Paris-based Films Action is based on the 1960s cult TV hit of the same name. Production will be carried out in the UK with post-production taking place in Paris.

Nickelodeon UK has acquired the new CGI series The Magic Roundabout. Destined to air on Nick Jr., the 52 x11-minute series produced by Paris-based Films Action is based on the 1960s cult TV hit of the same name. Production will be carried out in the UK with post-production taking place in Paris.

Distributor Ellipse Anime has already presold the series to Nickelodeon Asia, M6 in France, ABC Australia and ZDF in Germany.

Films Action is currently in development with the second feature film; Nickelodeon UK also picked up the first movie in the deal.
