L.A.-based Taffy Entertainment has secured the worldwide rights to animated series Bobby’s World, a co-pro between Film Roman and 20th Century Fox Television.

The 81 x 23-minute toon, created by and starring Howie Mandel, ran between 1990 and 1998 on Fox and was recently relaunched on Kabillion, Taffy’s multiplatform kids VOD channel available on the Comcast cable platform and online at www.kabillion.com. Since its January debut on Kabillion, Bobby’s World has been downloaded and viewed more than 500,000 times.

Taffy plans to reintroduce the series to international TV buyers at MIPTV later this month, and has already set the wheels in motion for a major licensing and consumer products program that will target both adults and kids.
