People moves: Wong to move Beeb books and merch in Asia

BBC Worldwide has tapped Maggie Wong to head up its publishing and licensing operations across North and Southeast Asia.

BBC Worldwide has tapped Maggie Wong to head up its publishing and licensing operations across North and Southeast Asia.

Based in the Hong Kong office, Wong will manage home entertainment initiatives and consumer products programs for key brands including Teletubbies, Charlie and Lola, Doctor Who and Planet Earth.

Prior to the move, Wong spent six years at Disney as publishing manager for Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. She replaces Freda Chan, who has relocated to the US.
