Jetix UK is bolstering its comedy lineup with the acquisition of Grossology and Lockie Leonard.

The 26 x 24-minute live-action Lockie Leonard, from Australia’s Essential Viewing, gets its world premiere on April 14th. Based on novels by Tim Winton, the show follows the adventures and comic mishaps of quick-witted 12-and-three-quarter-year-old surfer dude Lockie and his family and friends.

Meanwhile, Nelvana Enterprise toon Grossology centers around investigative tag team Ty and Abby as they solve mysteries too gross for adults. Grounded in real science and based on the books by Sylvia Branzei, the show hits Jetix UK airwaves in July.
