UK-based Target Entertainment has signed a key deal for broadcaster Five’s Milkshake! brand licensing program.

The three-year pact with Random House Children’s Books includes the publication of novelty and activity titles centered around the Milkshake! block and the shows it features. First up, the Milkshake! Annual will host preschool pals like Fifi and Flowertots, Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs and Peppa Pig.

A retail launch is planned for 2008 and will include at least two, and possibly up to four titles, plus the annual. Target intends to take Milkshake! into arts & crafts and educational toy categories in the near future.
