Youth online destination Habbo has launched a new game for its 29 virtual communities around the globe.
SnowStorm is a virtual verision of the traditional outdoor snow-war game, complete with snowballs and forts. Players compete against each other in a pelt-or-be-pelted match that pits two-to-four teams against each other in battle.
The game was first piloted at the end of 2006, and now will be widely available at www.habbo.com/games/snowstorm. Habbo’s virtual communities host more than 7.5 million unique visitors a month, with its North American portals accounting for more than two million of those visits.
