Fresh off a recent re-branding, Canuck tooncaster Teletoon is heading into the spring season with a bundle of promotions designed to trigger kid viewer participation.

First out of the gate is the ‘Wonder + Pump Up The +’ contest. The gimmick is that the more kids who enter the contest, which launched today and runs until March 29, the more valuable the prizes will be. Viewers can check in at teletoon.com to watch the prizes get bigger and better each day.

On March 11, the net will air the first part of an interactive double episode of Carl2, after which kids can vote online or via cell phone to decide who wins the show’s ‘Teen Superstar’ competition. The winner will be announced the following week during the second part of the episode. Every online or cell phone vote is also entered into a contest to win swag from the series.

The net’s seventh-annual My Little Pony contest is launching on March 12 and running until April 9. Again, entries will be accepted at teletoon.com for a chance to win a My Little Pony party and toys. The My Little Pony special The Runaway Rainbow is set to air on April 6 and 9 in support.

To round out March Break efforts, a contest to win a DVD of Warner Bros.’ Happy Feet DVD, Happy Feet socks and a mini fridge also starts on Monday at the kidcasters’ website.
