Cartoon Network’s ‘Get Animated’ outreach program and The Association of Junior Leagues International have joined forces to promote healthy lifestyles and proper eating throughout March, which is National Nutrition Month.

Tapping into Junior Leagues’ ‘Kids in the Kitchen’ campaign, characters from CN’s Camp Lazlo will star in a PSA that debuted March 5th. Assets from the show are also being incorporated into the campaign’s website (www.kidsinthekitchen.ajli.org), a portal featuring healthy recipes and tips on leading an active lifestyle.

‘Get Animated’ launched in 2005 and has since used on-air, online and print programs to oust kids from the couch and fight the growing threat of childhood obesity in the US.
